Linemen Raise Funds for Burn Foundation

Concern for Community is a guiding principle of cooperatives such as Snapping Shoals EMC. In that spirit, SSEMC's Fishing Trail Team raised more than $8,650 for the Burn Foundation of America. SSEMC's Trust Board also donated $5,000 from Operation Round Up funds boosting SSEMC's total donation to $13,650!

From left, linemen Michael Cronan, Matt Durand, Neil Johnson, Randy Nixon and Melvin Brake recently presented the funds to Burn Foundation Chief Operating Officer Steve Chalker. The SSEMC Fishing Trail Team raised the funds by selling raffle tickets for a drawing of donated items, including a generator, Blackstone Grill and various gift certificates.
