2022 Annual Meeting Recap

Thank you to everyone who attended our Annual Meeting today! Despite the rain, a total of 1,496 members registered for this year’s meeting at the Georgia International Horse Park in Conyers. Those who stayed for in-person activities were treated to music from gospel group Three Bridges and received useful energy information from SSEMC employees. Congratulations to this year’s grand prize winner, Diane Muscarello of Conyers, who took home a Ford Ranger that was retired from the Snapping Shoals fleet. Jim and Carol Clark of Covington were the Oldest Married Couple in attendance and will receive a $100 credit on their power bill. Lillian McCombs of Conyers was the Oldest Member in attendance and will receive a $50 bill credit. During the business session, directors Ruby Woods, Dr. Millard Ross, and James White were re-elected to serve in Districts 1, 2, and 4, respectively.
