From the mySSEMC app, you can:
- Easily report outages
- View and pay your bill
- See your payment history and set up recurring payments on one or more accounts. Payment and billing information is shown in real-time.
||SSEMC Rates among Lowest in State
Did you know your co-op has some of the lowest rates in the state? Snapping Shoals EMC members continue to pay less for their electricity than most other Georgians. SSEMC’s residential rates are among the 5th lowest in three categories, according to a recent Georgia Public Service Commission survey of all electric providers in the state.
PSC residential rate surveys are done twice a year during the summer and winter. For the summer 2014 survey, residential rates in effect for the month of July from Georgia’s 41 EMCs, 52 government-owned utilities and Georgia Power are utilized.
The survey looks at four different electricity levels: 500, 1,000, 1,500 and 2,000 kilowatt-hours (kWh). A kilowatt-hour is the unit we use to determine the amount of electric power you consume. One kilowatt-hour is the electric power required to run one 100-watt light bulb for ten hours.
Among all 94 electric providers in Georgia, Snapping Shoals EMC has the 5th lowest residential rates at 1,000 kWh, 1,500 kWh and 2000 kWh. SSEMC has the 9th lowest rates at 500 kWh. For more information about the survey and the PSC visit http://www.psc.state.ga.us/
